Living in Vegas

Filed under: Travel — bruce @ 12:28 pm

Many people couldn’t possibly think that they could get away with living in Las Vegas, but there are the select few that can live in Vegas without ruining their lives within a matter of weeks.  These people have families and they have jobs at the casinos or they just don’t have gambling problems or drinking problems or are just simply faithful to their wives.  To these people, it’s just another town with great Las Vegas carpet cleaning and some nice, over the top hotels.

But people in Las Vegas have some problems in the fact that locals have a hard time paying the bills since it is such an expensive tourist spot.  Outside the strip, people lead normal lives and they clip Las Vegas coupons just like the rest of us.  They take their kids to day care and they go to work at regular hours even though the hotels are open every hour of every day.  I just can’t imagine how people who work at the hotels and casinos can control themselves enough to still have enough money to fix their cars at Las Vegas auto repair.  Thank the lord for these people who have some measure of self-control.

Aircraft for Sale Online

Filed under: Travel — bruce @ 12:52 pm

My friend has just been advertising his aircraft for sale online. He is looking for a new one which has a few more features and so has been looking to sell his old one first. It is still in great condition, he just is one of those people that likes to have the latest things and so because it is a bit old then he wants to update it. He should be able to get quite a bit of money for it because it is so new and in such good condition.

He needs quite a bit for it because he is buying one that is really expensive and does not have that much money for it. He was hoping to borrow some money to pay for it but the bank won’t lend him any because they are not lending much money to anyone at the moment. He is hoping that his aircraft sale will raise him lots of money so that he will not need to visit all of the banks and try to borrow some to pay for the new one. He is asking more money for it than he needs and is hoping that people will not ask for too much of a reduction when they approach him asking for his best price.

Travel with Infants

Filed under: Travel, Pets — bruce @ 2:24 am

When traveling with infants you want to prepare for everything that way no matter what happens you will have a solution. The first thing you should do is plan your Cabo San Lucas resort trip around your child’s naps. This might not be entirely possible but do your best to pick a flight that leaves shortly after your child has woken up from a nap so that he will be rested and happy and enough ahead of his next nap so that he can settle down easily during the trip. Make sure your child has eaten too before beginning a flight. You don’t want to have to feed your child on the flight unless you have to. That’s because it can be messy for baby, mom, and everyone else. Most flights to a Cabo resort should be fast so all you really need is to have a freshly changed baby who is well rested and well fed to have a great outcome. Then, when you arrive all you will have to do is check out the Cabo San Lucas vacation rentals and enjoy your vacation. Those are some basic tips to help you travel to Cabos with kids.

Cell Phone Unlocking and International Travel

Filed under: Travel — bruce @ 1:53 am

A year ago, I went to China for a business travel. I brought my cell phone with me though I knew I weren’t able to use it outside of the US continental. But at least I could contact my family and friends in L.A. airport. I didn’t get time to do mobile phone unlock. The flight from L.A. to Beijing wasn’t a surprise.I stayed in one of northern city for a few days and ready to head to southern part of China. I managed to make phones within cities without a cell phone with no problem. At one of airports, I checked in an hour and was told the flight was going to be delayed for 3 hours. I went o the information desk, and to my surprise they have no phones for passengers. It wasn’t that bad for most of them as everyone has a cell pone those day, but not for international travelers.

I realized that it was a really mistake I didn’t unlock my cell phone. It’s not that hard to unlock cell phone for most of GSM phones. I was thinking of get the phone unlocked online, but I didn’t have Internet connection either. I couldn’t stopping thinking of cell phone unlocking on the plane.
