You are engaged and now you must start thinking about your wedding planning. And after much consideration you and your fiancĂ© decide to have a beach wedding. And, while you know a wedding on the beach is what you have always dreamed of you aren’t quite sure of what you need to do or how to go about planning a wedding on the beach. Fortunately, if you follow the checklist below you will find it much easier to plan your wedding and it may even spark some ideas in you as well!

The first thing you need to think about is your wedding invitations. You already know that if you are planning a wedding on the beach it is going to be less formal than a church wedding so you should keep that in mind when it comes to your wedding invitations. Think about a fun design that will portray the type of wedding you will have as well as a little bit of your personality. Invitations designed with seashells, a beach scene, or anything of this nature will look absolutely beautiful and also let everyone know you are planning a beach wedding. Believe it or not but there are actually a lot of wedding invitation designs that are specifically for beach themed weddings. So, you will have no problem choosing form the invitations available and find one that is perfect. You will find a unique wedding invitation that conveys a little bit about your wedding as well as you as a couple that guests will love.

After you have your wedding invitations picked out you will need to pick out a time and location for your wedding so that you can go ahead and have your invitations printed. Consider all the beaches near you and the ones that have the best view and also have nice places to host a reception. It may take a little thinking and even touring the different beaches but you will find something that is perfect. Make sure that you can get married on the beach at the time you are interested in. Once your time, date, and location are set you will be ready to have the invitations printed. You will also need to make sure your pastor or officiate is available for that date or use someone provided by the reception location you are using.

Once you have these details hammered down you are ready to pick out colors, fun bridesmaid dresses, themes, and the like. Lots of brides get stressed out when planning a wedding but if you just take your time and be creative all will go smoothly.
